I ordered this a few weeks ago at the Chateau de Villandry outdoor restaurant in the Loire Valley, during our visit to France and it seemed like a very easy dish to make at home. It is made with local ingredients and is served warm, at least the toast with cheese part. Here is their description on the menu:
Salad of smoked duck breast and hot goat cheese
Green salad, smoked duck breast, toasted pine nuts, grape mash vinaigrette
