Directions to site:

No need to sign up, just show up.  We’ll be meeting at the dirt lot across Hwy. 20 from the Blodgett store (about 5 miles west of Philomath) at 10am on Saturday Jan. 20.  Bring a lunch and dress for the weather.

I’d take exit 228, that’s Hwy. 34 and head west toward Corvallis.  Take a left at the second signal (before you cross the river), it has a sign for Philomath/Ocean Beaches.  That will put you on 20/34 through Corvallis and Philomath, bypassing a lot of traffic.  At the west end of Philomath keep going straight on Hwy. 20 (not left on Hwy. 34), in about 5 miles you’ll see the Blodgett Store on the left, we’ll meet in the dirt lot across the highway from the store.  If you’re running late and miss us, keep going west on Hwy. 20 about 2-3 miles past Blodgett and look for cars parked on the right at the gate to Starker Eisele tree farm.  The foray site is across the highway from the parking, at the Bordette tree farm.

January Foray: Saturday, January 20. Check this website before heading out for last-minute weather updates. If the driving conditions are still poor on Saturday morning, STAY HOME! If conditions have improved, we’ll go to Starker’s Tum-Tum Bordette tree farm west of Blodgett. Meet at the dirt lot across the highway from the Blodgett Store at 10am. Blodgett is about 5 miles west of Philomath on Hwy. 20. To reach the foray site from Blodgett, keep going west on Hwy. 20 about 2.5 miles and look for cars parked on the right, at the gate to Starker Eisele tree farm. The foray site is across the highway from the parking, at the Bordette tree farm.
